Case study · Faith community

From a group chat
to a bilingual news site.

A faith community shares its news in a group chat. ARMKU built the path that turns those messages into posts on its website, in Spanish and in English: AI writes the draft and checks for private data and for the source of every photo and link, and a person approves each post before anything goes public.

Nothing goes public on its ownEvery post waits for a person to approve it.
No source, no postContent from someone else needs its source cited first.
One message, two languagesEvery post is written in Spanish and in English.

How a message becomes a post

Six steps, one of them human on purpose.

1

Message

Someone shares news, photos, a video or links in the group chat.

2

Group

A burst of messages becomes one post, with its photos in one gallery.

3

Draft

AI writes the title and text in two languages and flags private data.

4

Check

Every photo, video and link is checked for its source and rights.

5

Approve

A person approves it with a command in the chat or a button in Odoo.

6

Publish

The post goes live and joins the weekly newsletter draft.

What we built

Six pieces, running today.

Live: running on the community's public site today.

01

The news wall

Live
  • Photo galleries, video that plays on any phone, iPhone included, and cards for links and PDF documents.
  • Short links are followed to their real destination, so the source shows the real site.
  • A correction sent later as a new message updates the original post.
02

AI with a person in charge

Live
  • AI drafts the title and text in two languages. It never publishes.
  • Possible private data, like a sick person's name or a phone number, is flagged and needs an explicit review.
  • The owner gets a notice about two minutes after the last message, then approves or discards.
03

Sources and rights

Live
  • Every message is classified: the community's own, cited from someone else, missing a source, or a copy that needs review.
  • Without a source it is not published. The source can be added from the chat or from Odoo.
  • The source appears with a link to the original on the page, on the card and in the newsletter.
  • Text inside posters and headlines is read automatically to help find the source.
04

A weekly newsletter

Live
  • The week's posts are assembled into a newsletter draft in both languages.
  • A person reviews it and sends it: nothing is mailed automatically.
05

The website around it

Live
  • A bilingual site on self-hosted Odoo 18, with a library of teachings, each with a study guide.
  • Contact and volunteer forms that land in the CRM, with bot protection.
  • Ready for search engines: page descriptions, structured data, language alternates and a sitemap.
06

Tested like production software

Live
  • Every change runs first on a copy of the site.
  • 106 end-to-end checks on the copy and in production, and 48 on the assistant.
  • Visual checks in a real browser, on desktop and phone, in both languages.
  • A backup and a written way back before every release.

Why a person approves every post

This is a private group's content going onto a public site. Human approval and the private-data flag are the point, not an extra.
